Agree! Also, I cringe when I hear people calling twizzlers licorice! I go all fancy and get the European ish with some actual flavor!
4, with the condescending thing of 2. : )
"Sin" is just doing something your god doesn't like. Nothing to do with morality. Just authority.
I think the vast majority of governments would do well to pass a "freedom FROM religion" amendment. The current freedom of religion laws end up preventing appropriate education, equal rights legistlation and protections for those religion abuses.
It's just another quote supporting the OP showing a fear about that and to me implies a reluctance to consider change because of that. These aren't anti evolutionists either.
It wasn`t a fight, there was a guy with a gun running around. FFS would you have run up to the guy and taken the gun from him?
I feel that they do that to themselves though. You can be big and dress in clothes your size and still look sexy AF.
The aquifer in our area did drop 55 feet in 2014 (we were in drought conditions), but since then we have had good wet seasons and have done some improvements by our government to monitoring and water control. But I also have installed a series of ponds throughout my property under a grant with DNR to build surplus so I can better feed my live stock from surface and rain water rather than well. I have seen quite an improvement on consumption since implemented. I also am using a pond for fish farming, so far the results look promising.
I think the distinction between "literal" and "figurative" (as asked) can be a false dichotomy.
Only if you don't recant Kenny!
Agreed. (I was posting in support)
I don?t know, it depends on how serious the issue is. I feel like we?ve all grown comfortable with accepting opinion and agreeing to disagree as a way to not offend particularly with the current political climate. If it?s someone I care about and it?s an issue I deem important, I?m more inclined to ask them how they arrived to that viewpoint and what were their sources to shape it. And maybe I?ll go read or investigate and offer a rebuttal with my viewpoint as well. At the end of the day, even if they don?t agree, the most important thing for me is that I feel supported and understood (and vice versa).
Yes I did. It was only Huckabee. You also cited snopes which refutes what Huckabee said, all of it.
Seriously? The wind leaves all kinds of signatures on reality. Even a blind man can see the wind.
Guess I need to go tell my friend that he's wrong because some guy on the internet with a masters degree says it's not possible regardless of what he sees.
Reality. No widdle linky to that.
You sir provide a valid point
