No there are huge gaps in scientific ideology as there is in religious ideology. There are no fundamental truth found in either sphere of intellectual reasoning, science can only prove anything in the realm it has access to, i.e. matter, and even there it's far from knowing all that much.
Reminds me of:
What are Abortion questions doing in religion? It's a medical procedure and only the parties involved (woman and doctor) should decide. Neither church nor state should stick their noses into what sane well informed people choose to do with their own bodies.
The depraved poster does not know that there is one sure way to avoid getting pregnant, or avoid impregnating someone. 100% certain.
I am perfectly fine with agreeing to disagree (because I'm basically just a fan of having people go away and stop annoying me) but some people are unwilling to settle for that: if there's a dispute, they need to
Didn't Obama use this same policy for 8 years? And Bush before him?
"Pretending that they are equal to humans has been a huge setback for the white peoples of the world." Wow. Step back and listen to yourself. They ARE human. Are you upset that you no longer can regard them as just another poachable animal? I'm American Indian, Blackfoot and Ojibwe, from my mom's side and Cherokee from my father. I do have Irish, Scot, Welsh and Fench, also. You want to talk about crime rates? Look up how many crimes are committed by Indians compared to our population. Come at me with some logic that isn't rooted in BS prejudice and we can talk. What you have posted about this topic is pure, unmitigated tripe.
When you say the sciences you mean the collection of facts that we know about the world. That is half of science and many facts do not contradict religion. The other half of science is the method that allows us to derive those facts. The scientific method is in every way incompatible with religion and in order to take either one seriously you must completely dismiss the other.
Less emotional probably but it was completely awkward.
Oh please, I was a christian for several decade (brainwashed by my mother who, until her last years, believed god would cure my sister of the cancer that was killing her if my mother only prayed for a miracle) until I started studying the BuyBull and realized it's nonsense and supports the scam called christianity.
Explain my error and I will apologize. I don?t see an error in the assumptions I made based on your limited responses so I don?t see a reason to apologize. I also don?t think I have responded rudely or arrogantly as you continue to do so there is no need for an apology on those grounds either.
Excuse me? I didn't type it?
but kfc is much better than a pack of smokes :o
Not what I'm saying. We have the right to complain about anything. I think we sound bad when we complain about some of these lesser offenses, though. Her complaint is petty. He made a dumb joke and she blew it out of proportion. When I read that I think, "Wow, she must be a nitpicky person." I don't think, "Wow, I'd like to go hang out with her sometime."
Please explain what rule of logic it violates or what fallacies are being used.
When the time is right it will be right.
One of my favourites.
