False equivalence much?
What, pray tell, would you like to refute about this story?
Are you also denying this verse refers to the Nakhla raid?
Honestly dis is unfair
The parents can disagree, but they should at least have the intellectual honesty to recognize the difference between a need and a want.
You can understand why I assumed that's what you were getting at. My answer is the same regardless of 'lifestyle' or whatever. Get a cake somewhere else.
I recommend you familiarise yourself with refugee as well as crime statistics.
The only new normal is that the current GOP POTUS actually hits back, rather than demurely takes it like Bush, Bush, and Reagan. However, civility of the left seems to have been far worse under LBJ. The PBS series The Vietnam War by Ken Burns is on Netflix and it's highly entertaining as well as educational. I wish they would have spent a bit more time on LZ Xray, and LZ Albany though. I have a feeling that they could have made that series 6-10 episodes longer and it wouldn't have seemed tedious at all.
Mccabe will look great in orange
Thanks for the info. I was presented this watch a few years ago at Christmastime. Sent home early and opened the box, very impressive. Others that received their watches, before me, had the Co. logo right on the face. Mine doesn't have that. Anyway, later that evening, almost all the family was here and when I showed it to them it wasn't ticking. I've never looked at it again until 15 mins. ago.
So, no proof?
?forbid their members to seek knowledge?.... lol ?? ?? ??. NEVER had a Catholic ever been ?forbidden? from seeking knowledge. Have you never read the works of Pope John Paul II, Fides et Ratio?
So it used to be spelled "proda"?
Not sure I can accept that. False hope is in the eye of the beholder. You might regard someone's hope as false while they may be convinced that it's 'true'. Unless you can prove their belief system false, how can you prove their hope false? Otherwise all you are doing is declaring their hope false, based on your own belief system, without proof.
Clearly you have never been to an Islamic country as men holding hands is "the norm" in these parts.
Perhaps we should define what we mean by faith first. I see faith as belief in something without sufficient evidence to demonstrate its accuracy.
I'm happy to believe that a guy called Jesus lived, just not about him coming back from the dead. I need evidence for that because it contradicts our knowledge.
There's some strange pups in California.
Ah ha ha ... What country do YOU live in ?
no, he was in a car when he fled. you didn't see the video where the liberal professor described pointing his rifle at the car to make it 'move along and through'..because it actually circled the block and came back around. My impression was that the poor guy was looking for a place to park and got waylaid by this asshole.
Sacrifice is when a value is lost. Whether you like it or not (and I dont) sacrifice is a common theme in western thought. Even for some atheists sacrifice is viewed as noble and honorable. Sacrifice your time, money, and belongings. And its always for some bullshit collective like the ?common good?, the state, the government. Its used it to raise your taxes, accept low pay (military) and even live in squaller. The notion of noble sacrifice is used to con people out of livelihoods and even their own lives.
It's one of those sh!tty facts of life that have no easy answer because of how many variables there are. I am of the opinion that work and private life can and should be separated. And that if the twain should ever meet, the only appropriate thing to do is carry on as normal when you're both back in your usual environment. Unfortunately, a few too many ruffled feathers have made such reasonable compartmentalizing impossible. Soooooo, now we have to deal with blurred lines and controversy. Awesome.
Canada was a British territory. Canadians were part of the war of 1812. We actually celebrated the burning of the White House. Are you sure you know the history of the 1812 war??
Another comment like that and you are done here,
Sooooo... Wynne is catching up to the rest of us Ontario voters, who have given her the middle finger 3 weeks or 6 months or 1 year ago!
I really hate to admit it...but you're right.
