Where are you from?
The biblical narrative contains a textual formula that marks the end of each days activities. If you count them you'll see that Adam was created on the 7th day and God rested on the 8th day. Note: The scribes omitted the blessing in the 2nd day but inserted it in the middle of the 3rd and 6th days. The idea of a Sabbath rest is of late origin. The Bible records no such observance in any portion of Israel's "history" prior to the Exodus from Egypt.
The information about Bible fallacies, inaccuracies, errors, contradictions and other flaws is available to anyone, just a brief google search away.
OK, I get that. And before your parents that life was in their parents? And going back to some beginning point? Life was inherent in the big bang?
It wasn't nonsense. The Harper government was ripping the veterans off on benefits. The Liberals had fixed some of it but have not gone far enough in my opinion. But they've certainly been a hell of a lot better than the conservatives were
"You would if you could"???
I think you misunderstand this figure of speech. It's meaning is similar to "one bad apple spoils the barrel."
sure agreed and I am not talking about reality.
ummmmm my "friend" would like to check your counting skills.. (blush)
So was he wrong then, or is he wrong now?
Yeah, but you know I do know the science, so you're playing some kind of game with yourself.
Wow! Such bitterness from a washed up political hack. Just love how criminals
Yes, when people are being deliberately obtuse or making wild leaps that make no logical sense, arguing is pointless.
You've got good questions. I'll tackle a couple of them briefly, but you've really reached the point where you're better off learning from some proper reading to better understand the background and context rather than asking individual questions on an internet forum.
I guess baically comes down to if you believe He is Creator of all & therefore
Therefore, Jesus and the Lord are the same?
Yeah, I guess I don't how to make you understand my viewpoint (which I think is a scientific viewpoint). It's like asking me "What do you think of cars?". Kind of a hard question to answer. Ask me "How fast does the Subaru Impreza go from 0-60" and I could give an answer to that. Likewise, I'm not sure how to say what I think of astronomy. Science is about discrete facts to me, not a political party that I vote for. Science is about demonstrable realities for me, not about grading the process of scientists.
Now that I have answered the posed questions, I have one.
Owww christ ! You just blew it !
