What lies has he told? Can you point to any?
But this isn't a discussion about how religions are founded. If it were we wouldn't be communicating as I wouldn't be part of that dialog. It's not that complicated and a formula repeated ad nauseam in many different cultures and nations.
you know she's a girl, right? and hogg is a man? (hehe)
If it?s in the religion racket the moronic part is assumed.
The EU is all about centralized power. Socialism. "Progressivism"
Good Morning Stinkers and Stinkerettes...
Why yes, I do. Both sides are obligated to adhere to and demonstrate the adherence to reason in order to established reasoned communication. If one side refuses to do so, its argument is not reasoned by definition. I'm sure you can see how this works.
Oh that's so cute and harmonious! You just made my gonads tickle.
That tells me that you believe the bible over the Qu'aran. It doesn't tell me why.
In the Old Testament book of Daniel (chapter 3) Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar built a golden image and ruled that anyone who didn't worship his idol would be thrown into a fiery furnace. So when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to obey they were brought before the King. They are fearless BECAUSE they had a tremendous understanding of the uniqueness of Jehovah and of his great power and they will worship him even if it means their life. They admit their guilt. They say to the King, "It's true. We have not bowed down and we won't bow down to that image." They affirmed their faith. They say our God is able to deliver us. And, furthermore, they believe that it is perfectly all right to submit themselves to the will of God. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of the blazing fire. But if he does not, let it be known to your king that we are not going to serve your god. So, whatever may be the will of God for us, we submit to that. We know, however, our God is able to do what he wants to do.
Religion in a historical context should be taught as the last refuge of our primitive mind. It should be treated no different than Greek or Eygyptian mythology, other religions of their time. Religion as a belief or faith has no place in a public school but the superstitions of our illiterate, uneducated ancestors is fair game.
I agree, it is WRONG to use only one test, such as carbon dating only to make a scientific claim...as you are doing here. YOU pointed out that carbon dating, which gives a "date range" of a fossil is backed up by counting tree rings, (which debunks your rational by finding that you have faulty methodology by using only ONE test method, in the elementary sense) and as with other methods like carbon dating, scientists used other isotopes with longer half lifes to get a more time frame.
There goes the clean screen ----good one you even beat Bammer with that one ....
No, Trump is not, the people who support his policies are - that's something you folks on the left never seem able to grasp.
Granddaughter is lucky you are there for her.
Lots and lots of claims and statistics. Boy, was. glad to see all the links so I could check out these claims and learn more. I mean, this is an OP about religious trends in Europe and how that relates to the United States, and so let's jump in.
Yep, I was terrible. Hence my confession.
Yeah see, that particular example doesn't strike me as particularly wise. In fact it strikes me as an example of that sort of fictitional wisdom that requires all the other characters to behave perfectly predictably for the hero's plan to succeed.
As a society we don't know what love is. We confuse love and lust all the time.
Don't forget the indulgences granted to Crusaders. These barbarians were promised Carte Blanche to murder, rape and pillage without worrying about those pesky 'sin' drawbacks. There were even professional forgivers (apparently, that's a word) called
"Move to another country" is the typical motto of dictatorships.
