took the words out of my mouth!
Starschmucks is close this afternoon giggle to have training for bias?....sensitivity?? what is the issue? They have a few idiots working for them and 190000 people get trained... Just FIRE them. It will not stop happening you can not train to stop idiots.
This isn't about security. Trump hates refugees and asylum seekers.
that?s a very good question
Boooooooo - worth a shot!
1. Here at RC the Bible tends to be presented as all good, or all horror. What do you think of this more nuanced approach?
2 wins away
I wonder if the internet is becoming a place where we expect to disagree with the people we encounter and that we must make a statement against those people every time we believe they are saying something with which we do not agree.
sure. The point I'm getting at, many more people will automatically issue a zero because the idea is 'laughable'. But, why is it more laughable than the god belief? The same amount of evidence exists.
Isolated figures deflect from the major theme here. The point is FGM prevails by a very high percentage in Muslim nations, communities, or whatever you wish to call them. Islam itself does nothing to discourage it. It simply shrugs it shoulders and goes on. Homosexuality is supposedly taboo, but it is practiced all over the place. In Afghanistan, parading young boys around as one's personal sex toy is a symbol of status and prestige. But, it isn't limited to only that country.
As an agnostic Humanist my answer to question #1 is: yes, it is hypocritical! Genuine critical thinking & investigation is always harder than simply believing whatever you want, and believers have no monopoly on intellectual laziness. That being said, "trust" for a non-believer is not the same act of blind faith it is for many believers. The claims of archaeologists are not infallible and remain open to skeptical inquiry.
LOL - you just can?t do it, can you? You can?t bring yourself to accurately characterize my comments, or even your own. We are not speaking of a definition arbitrarily defined by you, as I?ve pointed out so many times. You yourself defined the context in terms of Western religious philosophy!
At the risk of being condescending, I'm going to reiterate that the Constitution is not changed by redefining the words. The process for changing it is outlined very specifically in Article V.
Spammers are back
Biased links that put bible verses against bible verses from the same book that contradicts itself?
I was tempted to send this to my kids and say "here's a pic of Mom and Dad in a few years", but didn't want to frighten.
If/when I do another, I'm definitely going to work on doing the questions better to make it easier for people to fill it out accurately.
Lol. Stop while youre ahead
I'm referring to those who use it as a strategy for control and domination, and it was, and still is one of the spoils of war if the army is advancing with the use of force. For instance in Congo, relatively recently, rape during the war was associated with enhancing the libido. Soldiers were encouraged to do it. And it was a 'manhood' thing.
Looks like the gay community has "special" privileges...so says the lower Colorado court when presented with a case where a Christian was turned away when requesting a cake with a bible passage on it...this was also cited in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case and helped him reach a win.
If there is any doubt just how evil the Liberals are remember they support the killing of the most defenseless among us.
